Dancing with the Chamber Stars

In August, I was asked by the Lee's Summit Chamber to dance for an event that would happen in October. As someone who had never taken a dance lesson, or performed anything in front of more than 10 people, I of course agreed to do it. After months of hard work and practice, the night came to perform. Nerves were taking over and the longer I waited in the hotel room to perform the more nervous I got to perform. We ended up completely killing it and winning the judges' choice award that night. I am so glad I had this experience and also that i got a chance to network in such a fun and different way. I have had so much recognition from doing this event that it has helped our leads and most importantly our sales.

Evolve Hair Service Menu

My older sister works at Evolve Salon in Blue Springs, MO. Evolve Hair is the first zero carbon footprint salon in the Kansas City area. I was asked to help redo the service menu and of course jumped at the opportunity. The design is not completely my own I just recreated the previous design made for them from just a hard copy. I have not included the inside of the brochure to protect pricing.

Changing Spaces

So I have not posted on here since December and that is because I have moved back to Lee's Summit to be a design consultant for Budget Blinds. I have had a busy few months and have been on the run since i moved back on Christmas Day. I am not the main design consultant for the Overland Park/Leawood, KS area and textiles specialist for our franchises. I am on sales calls almost every day and am constantly attending networking events. I am always looking for ways to expand my business and would love to meet with anyone interested in doing the same.

Budget Blinds is a national franchise that has been in business over 20 years. there are over 900 franchises in North America, including Canada. Our franchise has been in business for over 12 years and I am proud to be the third generation in this organization. I will try to focus more on my blog and update it as often as possible.
